Our Story
In the 1980’s there was a hole in the wall on 5th and Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles called Ciscos where you get burritos made with meat of questionable origin. They had a green sauce so spicy most folks couldn’t handle more than a few drops. I would enjoy two containers of that verde with my lunch. I became known at work as ‘the Ciscos kid.”
After leaving that job I never found myself near Ciscos location again until one day in 1995 or so. Ciscos was gone. Determined to have that sauce again I set forth to recreate it. Turned out be a simple mix of habanero, tomatillo, lemon juice and salt.

Once I broke that code I found myself on a mission to create hot sauces for those with sophisticated taste buds like mine.
Over time I developed several habanero based sauces using premium ingredients to achieve unique flavors as well as bold spicy heat. In 2014 I found myself living in the high desert and ready to premiere my first sauce: High Desert Habanero. Soon after I started experimenting with hotter peppers and came up with Restless Reaper.
